A Step-by-Step Abacus Learning Journey

Each level introduces age-appropriate skills and builds on the foundation developed in the previous stage.

KG Abacus course for children at Horizzon-The Learning Curve
Level 01
Foundation Level 4 Months

KG Level

Minimum Eligibility: UKG Duration: 4 Months

The starting point of the Horizzon-The Learning Curve Abacus journey. At this level, children build comfort with numbers through guided, play-based activities — including number recognition, bead handling, and simple counting exercises that lay the groundwork for calculation in later levels.

Beginners Level

Minimum Eligibility: Class 1 to 3 Duration: 4 Months

Children begin real calculation here — learning addition and subtraction on the physical Abacus before gradually shifting toward visualization-based mental calculation. This level builds the foundation for every advanced skill that follows.

Advanced Skills 4 Months

Advance Level

Minimum Eligibility: Class 4 to 7 Duration: 4 Months

Building on the Beginners level, children move into multiplication, division, and multi-digit mental calculation — relying increasingly on visualization rather than the physical Abacus. This is where calculation speed and confidence become more visible.
